What happened

The suggestion was already accepted, rejected or superseded, or another person’s accept of it is still running. Exactly one decision is recorded per suggestion, with one deed.

What to do

Read the suggestion (GET /v1/suggestions/{id}): status, decided_by, decided_at and resulting_version say what happened. To change the policy further, generate suggestions again or push a version yourself.

The message is for a person and can get more exact over time: branch on type and code, never on the message.
