What happened
Section titled “What happened”You opened a watched session (POST /v1/observe/sessions, deedglass observe start or observe run) on a Postgres connector whose observe mode is off. Observe mode reads the same change log as the Witness, so it needs witness.enabled: true and witness.observe.enabled: true in the connector’s config. Nothing was opened.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”Turn it on in Console › Connectors › your connector, or add observe: {enabled: true} under witness in the connector’s config and update it. Then open the session again.
Example
Section titled “Example”{ "error": { "type": "invalid_request_error", "code": "observe_not_enabled", "message": "Observe mode is off for pg-demo.
