dev_only

A deedglass command stopped with this code. It comes from the CLI, not the API.

What happened

The command printed one sentence that says what happened. With --json, the same sentence is error.message and this page is error.doc_url.

What it says, for example:

deedglass dev seed is for dev databases only.
deedglass dev seed –demo is for dev databases only.
insights detect –backfill only runs with DEEDGLASS_ENV=dev. It judges past hours as if they were now.

What to do

Run the command in the next line under the message, for example:

Unset DEEDGLASS_ENV=prod, and point DEEDGLASS_DATABASE_URL at a local database.
Unset DEEDGLASS_ENV=prod, and point DEEDGLASS_DATABASE_URL at the demo's database.

Add -v for more detail. If the message names a setting, Configuration explains it; deedglass doctor checks the whole setup.
